I have spent the last several hours creating a background image under phcoagallery --->Themes over and over again. It doesn't matter what I set the image size to, the size does not change on the frontend. The color and background change depending on the settings I choose, but the size does not. I've re-read all the documentation and ran several searches in this forum, but I was unable to find any information to help.
I've also tried regenerating the thumbnail images many times. I upgraded from 3.1.5 to 3.2.0 just to see if that would rectify the problem, it didn't.

Thanks,
Shelia

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
Hi, check if your server is able to resave the images (as background images are stored as files)
you can find them in : components/com_phocagallery/assets/images/

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
Hello,
Yes, I downloaded the shadow3.png and uploaded it to that directory, overwriting the file that was there, still no go. Sorry, I am just now getting back to you, I decided to do a complete re-install of phocagallery to see if that would clear up the problem. It took me a while to transfer all my images to another gallery. So, now I have a fresh install of phocagallery and still not able to re-size images.

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
BTW...here is a new link to a gallery.
http://www.clceast.org/index.php?option ... Itemid=580
I'm running Joomla 2.5.3 and phocagallery 3.1.5.
I created another background image. I set the thumbnail image to 250x250 and changed the colors from my last trying. I then checked the file on the web server to see if the image had changed, it did. The thumbnail images updated to the new background color theme, but the size remains at 100x100.
Thanks,
Shelia

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
Yes, I recreate the thumbnails each time.
I just noticed something interesting though. I went to the thumbnail folder to make sure the time stamp on the images were from when I created them last. I notice the medium size images were 100x100 and the small thumbnails were 50x50...so, I deleted all of them, went back in created more background images and then generated the thumbnails again. I then went back to the thumbnail folder and the images were still 50x50 and 100x100, so it looks like the thumbnails are not being re-sized.

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
Hmmm, no idea what can be wrong there, the parameters are normally taken, because if this will not work, no first thumbnails will be created

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
I am having the same issue. I change the size of the small and large thumbnails, then delete the old thumbnails.
I re-create the thumbnails and the same default size 50px and 100px are created. How can I check to see if the settings are being saved? It has been a frustrating couple of hours. I have Jommla 2.5 and Phoca gallery 3.20.
Here is the link to the website I am creating. I would like 3 or four galleries at the bottom of the page. The default thumbnails are too small.
Thanks,
Olympia

Re: Trouble Resizing Thumbnails
Hi, check if you have deleted right thumbnails - or use recreate button - you can check in options, if the new values are saved.
