On site the popup is blank when clicking an image

I installed phocagallery 3.2.0 on Joomla 2.5.4.
Installation went fine. I can construct categories and menu items.
The thumbnails in a category display well. Clicking an image results however in an empty popup and the following lines in apache's error log:

The images do popup in the phoca gallery component at the adminstrator site.

Hi, template you have installed (atomic-dvr) creates this error, so I think you need to ask the template developer

Thanks for replying. I am the template developer ...
The template is an exact copy of the atomic template. The site is under development, I only added some custom css. All php is unchanged.
The error only occurs in this specific situation.

I am emberassed to say my component.php appeared to be corrupt. Something must have gone wrong while copying. Sorry!
