EXIF Titles Issue

Post by stuff4me »

I just finished transferring my site to a different host and noticed that my titles (file name, dpi...etc) under the camera/exif info is not title right compared to the demo gallery on phoca.cz. I am getting what looks to be a full (code) version of the title (COM_PHOCAGALLERY_FILE.FILENAME) instead of the "File Name" on the demo site.

Newest version of Gallery. Assuming this is a file access / priv issue, just not sure what file(s) need to be adjusted.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

PHP Version: 5.2.12
WebServer: Apache/2

I am not sure what is happening or what is causing this error. I have not see this before.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, are you using the latest language files for the gallery?

I am using whatever was bundled with the full install. I am using EN and I do not see English on the list of language files/packs to install on the website.

I downloaded the full version of phoca gallery again and got the updated files:

en-GB.com_phocagallery.ini - April 5th, 2012
en-GB.com_phocagallery.sys.ini - April 3rd, 2012

Replaced them in the languages folder under Joomla and still not change.

All language files are the newest version from Joomla (2.5) and the language packs from Phoca are en-GB, where were extracted from a complete install and replaced on my server. Still getting the same errorous display. All other components of Joomla and Phoca are working without problem.

Hi, I don't know what's causing this... I don't use it on my sites, but I just checked it and I have the same issue.
We'll have to wait for someone else to solve it

No matter which Detail Window is picked, I still get the same errorous display. I default to Shadowbox, but have tried just about every other one listed and I get she same errorous display. I am assuming this is a file within the "info" folder within phoca's component. But the files looks good, from basic looking, there are no errors in the coding.

Thank you for any insight to where the problem might lay.

Thank you.

Can anyone else check to see if the EXIF info on your site is showing a similar result as above? Using Gallery 3.2 on Joomla 2.5? I have racked my brain and can not see where/what file is erroring out in causing the titles to be in code instead of the shorter version.

Thank you.

Hi, confirmed, thank you for the info, I will fix it for the next release.

EDIT:

QuickFix:
Go to:
components\com_phocagallery\views\info\view.html.php

cca line 656 and add before this code:

Code: Select all

$infoOutput .= '<tr '.$class.'>'
this code:

Code: Select all

$vs = str_replace('.', '_', $vs);
