Hi guys
First of all I wanted to say that I really like the gallery. It looks cool but I also have to say that I would like it even more, if the original theme would have been used by the gallery.. nevertheless, with your black them it fits perfectly into my theme.
Now I have a question about the configuration of the original image sizes. Is it possible to keep it instead of let it be resized by the gallery?
Thanks
Exi

Hi, Phoca Gallery does not change source images (original images) at all (see reasons in similar posts)

Hi Jan
Thanks for your answer.. But can you tell me, where and what I have to configure that the picture is always shown in its real resolution without unnecessary borders or shrank to the max size?
cheers

I believe, you don't understand what I am asking for. It is very unlikely that the images size is always the same. What I don't get is, that the original image is stored in the gallery but not used.Jan wrote:Hi,just create large thumnails the same size as original images have.

As you can see in my examples, I set the large image size to 235x270. Funny stuff that the gallery is using exactly that image when showing it in detail (2nd example below). You can see it when checking the image size screen showing in the third example.
Configuration in gallery itself.
Gallery showing the large image instead of the original (detail)
Proof that gallery is showing the large image
I would expect, that when showing the original size that also the displaying window will automatically resize itself to the correct values. Since -as I already mentioned- the image sizes can vary and this behavior is limiting the usage for the users.
It might be that I am configuring it the wrong way. If so, please give me some guidance to do it right.
Thanks,
Exi
Ps. Don't get me wrong. I am not bashing and I really like your gallery.. It just doesn't act as I would like to have it

Re: No resizing of the original images
Hi, I understand what you mean, but we all are limited by html/css/js features... So if you will use iframe method and navigate between images, the iframe detail window will be still the same. (because possible outputs like buttons, description, etc. need to be set - this is why you can set large image size and detail window size - because you have have different sizes of your images or use landscape and portrait images together.
