Sort category don´t work

I have a problem to sort the categorys. If i enter numbers in the view of category to change many category at the same time and click on the disk-button an erroy comes.

"you cannot change the order of items in the list is Checked out"

First i use Jommla funtion to checked all table in but there are no checkedout table. I´ve checked the database with phpmyadmin all category have in filed checked_out a 0

I use Joomla 2.51 and Phoca Gallery 3.15.

Any solution for me?

Yeas of course. I can change the order if i click on the up and down buttons. But not by all the categorys i find this button.

I think the button miss by the categorie under one other category. The Categorys under this Category have the button

example.

1. Dog-Name (with Button)
-----------------1 Year (without Button
------------ Jan2011 (with Button)
------------ Feb 2011 (with Button)
-----------------2 Year (without Button)
2. CatName (with Button)

and so on.

One other Point. I migrate from Joomla 1.5. It is not a fresh installastion.

Hi, in tree, not all subcategories can have up/down button - if the subcategory is only one (1Year), there is no option to move it to other place, because it is only one.

Hi, like by articles, you can move items in category - and only between items in one category, both of them (1 year, 2 year) are alone in the category (subcategory) so there is no place where to move them. It is like you have an apple and a pear in your bag. The apple will be allways first and cannot be second as it is only one, the same with pear. ... so you need to add the apple to other bag where other apple is. There you can assign ordering for both - one apple can be first, second will be second or reverse way.
