Image Rating and commenting

Post by WReh »

Hi,

I currently use Phoca Gallery 3.1.5 and Joomla 2.5.1. How do I enable image rating and image commenting (via JComments) only for some categories. I know how to enable it for all images in all categories (via global parameters), but I want that some categories do not display the rating and comment icon.

Thanks,
Wolfgang

Hi, JComments are not integrated yet for 2.5

Hi,

JComments does work (Version 2.3.0) when selected in Global Parameters under 'External Comment System'. But the main question still is: How do I disable rating and commenting for a category in the gallery?

Hi, in Options, you can disable rating.

In Options it is only possible to switch off rating for all categories. I want to have rating switched off for some categories and switched on for other categories.

Aha, so this needs to be customized in the code :-(

Maybe this could be implemented in a next version? This would be a nice and very useful feature.

Thank you
