Marker incorrect at IE8

hi jan,
we built maps on a joomla 1.5.25 (PhocaMaps 1.1.2) - there is a differenz between IE8 and Firefox. See:

Hi, I think, this is more a question on IE developers (I think, there I cannot do anything, as the map is rendered by Google Maps API - really no idea what can be wrong in the IE program )

hi jan, do you think that this is correct - because with PhocaMaps 1.0.5 there were no problems at all - ok there must be an API-Key, but this couln't make the difference. the map is rendered by google, but the marker (i think by overlapping two pictures = marker + shadow) is made by PhocaMaps - and this overlapping under IE8 displaying is not correct

Hi, 1.0.5 is running on Google Maps API 2 but 1.1.x and 2.x on Google Maps API 3 ... so yes it can be different
