Pictures from Picasa will not open in Highslide -> Loading..

Post by MachDirEinBild »

Hey,

I have some pictures on Picasa Web that won't be shown when I click them.
I see the text 'Loading..' and that's it.
The dimension of the picture is for example '2736×3648 Pixel – 3148 KB'
A picture with the dimension '1200×800 Pixel – 222 KB' will be shown.

Are there any restrictions for the dimension of pictures?

Thanks for help,
Alex.

Okay, I'm testing a littel bit.
It seems that pictures work alright with a dimension of 2048 pix at the long side.
Is this restricted by Phoca or by Highslide?

Hi, there is no restriction from Phoca side :idea: so maybe the javascript then have some problems in Highslide JS, but didn't get any such problem yet :-(

Hey Jan,

The link on the thumbs include the direct link from picasa. One of the directories in this picasa link is defined by the size of the long picture side, e.g. ../s5631/.. But the link do not work. The directory name must be ../s2048/.. or smaller. Then the pictures will shown with the named dimension.
Anyway, pictures can't be shown in a dimension bigger than 1600 pixel.

Perhaps this is helpful for you, to find a solution.

Here is the code of a highslide thumb that's not working.

<a class="highslide" onclick="return hs.expand(this, { slideshowGroup: 'groupC0', src: 'http://lh5.ggpht.com/-QSn5Zq8Q1nA/Tw08g ... 96_HDR.jpg', wrapperClassName: 'borderless floating-caption', outlineType : 'rounded-white', dimmingOpacity: 0.7, align : 'center', transitions : ['expand', 'crossfade'], fadeInOut: true });" href="http://lh5.ggpht.com/-QSn5Zq8Q1nA/Tw08g ... 96_HDR.jpg" title="20120106_5D2_Frankfurt-Dämmerung_MG_2291-bis-2296_HDR.jpg">
<img height="100" width="100" alt="20120106_5D2_Frankfurt-Dämmerung_MG_2291-bis-2296_HDR.jpg" src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/-QSn5Zq8Q1nA/Tw08g ... 96_HDR.jpg">
</a>

Ciao, Alex.

Hi !
I have the same problem...from the detail window, just the "Standard Popup Window" is working.
Highslide js just works in IE9-8 but no FF,Chrome etc ...

Edit: My version is 2.8.1.

Anybody who have this issue disable the : System - Mootools Upgrade plugin !!
Now it works again ...

Edit: But just the Highslide JS plugin, and not showing the original size.

Hi, in plugin, this needs to be customized, only component can display original images.
