Image titles

I have uploaded muliple images to phoca gallery however the titles of the images are not showing. I have followed the instructions in using the correct format for image titles my site is www.penistonecameraclub.org.uk I created the catagories linked them to the menu then uploaded the images. I have checked the parameters but there is nothing in there to show the image title.

Thank you for your response Jan I mean the name of the image. Each image has its own title (name) and this is not showing in the gallery.

Is "image name" enabled in parameters - to display image title below the thumbnails?

Thank you Jan for your response as a newby you will have to bear with me. I have gone to the control panel looked in options at the top right ( I am presuming this is where the parameters are) and there is nothing for image title under thumbnail.

The only one I could find was show title in catagory which puts the catagory name under each thumbnail see link http://www.penistonecameraclub.org.uk/i ... 6-portrait

I downloaded the plugin to get the catagories showing like they are on the images page see link

Is this something to do with not being able to include the image title.

Hi, not sure, if I really understand, on first screenshot, I can see the image title, on second, there is categories view - categories are displayed - not images

Thank you Jan the name under each image is the same that is the category name example the category you looked at was portrait. The titles of the images are all different, for example the title of the first image is Blacksheep_Morris_Man-BJP the title of the second image is Chorister-BJP the title of the third image is Cuban_Farmer-MR and so on.

This shows the categories with the category names in the title. This is perfect.

This is where the individual images are and when you look they all have the same title, which is the category name. On this page there should be the title of each individual image below the image not the category title.

This should be the same for all the categories. I know I am not very good at explaining things Jan so please bear with me

Jan. I have solved my problem with the titles of the images. When I loaded the plugin to create the category as on my web site, it named all the images with the name of the category.

I have gone to the images and re-named them to what they should be and they are now showing correctly.

As a newbie I would like to thank you for your patience and help. I will be trying other parts of the phoca gallery as I get more experienced.
