Post by thold »

Okay, i figured out how to fix this, but i need help :)

When creating a Navigation point in Joomla with Type=List Of Categories (Categories View) i need to have the option to hide some Categories, is that possible? I need this because i wnat to display different Categories-View with differen Categories in it, actually there will be ALL categories displayed. So i need to have some disabled in this Menu List Of Categories (Categories View).

Target of all this:

to have a Navigation like:

Gallery 1: displaying all subgalleries in "Displaying Style: Categories, Images and Detail Information" -> without displaying subgalleries from Gallery 2 and Gallery 3
Gallery 2:displaying all subgalleries in "Displaying Style: Categories, Images and Detail Information" -> without displaying subgalleries from Gallery 1 and Gallery 3
Gallery 3:displaying all subgalleries in "Displaying Style: Categories, Images and Detail Information" -> without displaying subgalleries from Gallery 1 and Gallery 2

Need help, anyone got an Idea?

Hi, which version of Joomla! you are using, in 1.5 you can limit ids in paremeters component in menu link to gallery - so every link can have other parameters.

In 1.6/1.7/2.5 see:
