Hi
New boy here! I'm trying to develop a Joomla web site (to replace an existing HTML version) for a photographic club (so there will be lots of images) and have started by installing Joomla 1.7.3 under XAMPP 1.7.7.
I've installed Phoca Gallery 3.1.1 successfully but cannot then find it again - there are no links to it under any Administration heading that I can see. If I re-install it and then save the Localhost URL to a Browser's (IE9 or Google Chrome) favourites I can then re-enter it under Administrator.
I've also installed the Slide Show plugin which works with no problem on the "uploaded" images.
I'd be greatful for any suggestions as, although I can cope at the moment, I don't see this working when uploaded to the host.
Thanks.

Re: Installing Phoca Gallery under XAMPP
Hi
Thanks for the suggestion but I'm afraid it didn't work.
Previously I was getting an IE error regarding being unable to display a web page; IE (after a few seconds) then displayed the Phoca Gallery Install/Update page with the "blue" message about successful installation.
Using the ftp option, I now don't get the IE error message, instead I now get a "red" message "Error building Admin Menus" as shown below.

Regards.
