I checked out some guestbooks and yours is just what I'm looking for. Compliments!
In Joomla 1.0.x I did use Akobook and then I added some code so the usedid's where added in the db. With this userid it was possible to do a lookup in the table _users for the profileimage and show this next to the entry.
Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge abount MVC programming, so I'm don't know how to add this to the component.
I allready read on this forum you will store the userid in the db in the future. Maybe it's a nice idea to show the profileimage to the entries...

In the table _phocaguestbook_items is a column called userid which is always filled with '0'.
If this column will be filled with the userid from the registered user who wrote an entry, it is possible to create a link to the users profile. Also it's possible to put the user's picture next to the entry.
