I have a site with phoca gallery working properly, on a dev domain, all is fine with it.
When I move the site to proper domain, I get errors.
Ive read many posts similar, but cannot get it sorted out.
I dont believe its a memory issue, as the new server has more memory and larger timeous etc than the original.
The problem is, BLANK page in site admin/control panel, all other Phoca/admin links are fine
I also get a blank page in the front end trying to view my gallery.
DEV site, which works fine - http://www.hoyle.com.au
Link to PHPINFO and server Info: http://www.actionsportphotos.com.au/wor ... pinfo.html
NEW domain - which gives blank pages - http://www.actionsportphotos.com.au/index.php

If you could please give me a clue as to how I can resolve this issue.
Thanks
Blank Phoca Control Panel and other errors.

Re: Blank Phoca Control Panel and other errors.
Ok, to eliminate potential problems, I did this...
I setup the site, again, on a different domain, but the same server as the one where the site works fine.
I get the same problem!! Which tells me that it is not a server issue, but an issue with my recreation of the site.
I have "moved" joomla sites many, many times with no problems and Im using the same methods..
Everything in the site works fine after this move EXCEPT phoca gallery.
This is the error I get in the front-end..
PHP Fatal error: Class 'PhocaGalleryOrdering' not found
Any ideas ?

Re: Blank Phoca Control Panel and other errors.
Ok, Problem solved. after eliminating the server as the issue< i solved the problem by doing this..
I used Akeeba backup to generate the backup file and downloaded to my PC, unzipped it using akeeba's extractor.
Then I zipped up all the files using winrar, upload, then extracted them on the server using cpanel.
Still dont know what was causing the problem but it was something to with using the backup generated from cpanel(which is how Ive done it thousand times with no problem.
Somehow files were getting corrupted I guess, but ONLY phoca files were effected.

I am having the same issue. I transferred a site recently built on my server onto a client's and it is not correctly loading the backend classes. It is currently failing at PhocaGalleryGrid::approved in the images/categories view.
I need to fix this so a resolution will be following as i can't seem to find one on the forums.

Re: Blank Phoca Control Panel and other errors.
if you have an old version of phoca and recently upgraded to a new one, don't forget to delete the old admin.phocagallery.php before uploading to the new site
1.7.3 seems to look for admin.component.php before it looks for component.php
