Displaying Description

Hi,

I'm using J! 1.7.3 and Phoca Gallery 3.1.1.

Thumbs display beautifully:http://www.acatlow.co.uk/index.php/serv ... -page.html

...but when you click to large view, Descriptions do not display.

I'm using the HighSlide JS (image only) for the display window.

Any ideas? Thanks.

backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Description Settings --> Display Description In Detail View=Show(Standard)
Display Title In Description=(As you like)
Save & Close

Thanks for your swift reply.

I'm new to Phoca Gallery, and hadn't even checked out the Options page! Amazing product - VERY cool!

Added nice little thumbs at the base of the Detail View. Neat.

The Description setting you recommend, however I can't get to work. I'm sure its me!

Any ideas?

I have inserted some Description text, and it does display with the mouseover event on the thumb, but not on the Detail view:

No idea..

As I told you above, this settings are working in my case

backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Description Settings --> Display Description In Detail View=Show(Standard)

Hello there,

I'm having another issue. I do have the discription below the images in detail view.
What I would like is the description of the image in category view as a mouseover effect. Now it shows the image title.

I'm using Phoca Gallery 2.8.1

Sorry for this. I already found out myself. That was not too difficult:

In /components/com_phocagallery/views/category/tmpl/default.php

I changed

Code: Select all

 echo ' title="'. $value->title.'"';

to

Code: Select all

echo ' title="'. $value->description.'"';
