Need help styling categories

i would like to style the categories with no border around the image. i have done a default install of 2.7.6 and when i create the category and inspect the element i get
element.style {
height: 140px;
width: 120px;
}

but i am unable to find where i could turn off the "padding" so that when you create the category there is no border around it. when you set padding box to 0, it still leaves about 10px of space on the left and the right of the image - how do i get rid of that space so that the style width would be 100px and not 120px - hope you understand

Hi, just set "transparent" value for borders in parameters.
