Two categories with different pop-up engine and image sizes

Hi,

I have installed locally Phoca Gallery 3.10 on Joomla 1.7.3 with only two categories. One category is based on photo content and one on video content. So, where is problem? Actually there are two of them..

First problem is how to enable that each of this two categories have different pop-up engine. (for example: photos will be previewed in shadowbox and videos in highslide). Please don`t tell me to use phoca gallery plugin to overwrite settings and preview thumbnails in Joomla content because when I use it then phoca gallery menu tree will again return default values from global Phoca gallery setings. How to solve this?

Second problem..If I have few photos with different sizes (width & height) and I need to upload them in original sizes..why is impossible to leave them in that sizes. In matter of act when photos are uploaded they are always re-sized on values that are inserted in Global Phoca Gallery Parameters. Why photos cannot be uploaded in original sizes?

Jan or others please give me some help..I am struggling with this maybe for you easy setup.

Hi,

2) you can set the size of large thumbnail in parameters - so this can be the same size as original images have - if you need to use original images instead of large thumbnails, this needs to be customized - see similar posts in this forum.
