phoca download and phoca gallery integration

i got a site with many downloadable pdfs (now managed with the old free version of docman),
i wanna create a thumbs gallery with phoca download links below, any suggestions?

Hi, just create the items in Phoca Gallery and set external link as link to Phoca Download - like here:
https://www.phoca.cz/joomla-templates

or set custom design for Phoca Download:
