I have installed Phoca Gallery on my Joomla! site. It works beautifully, and I am very pleased with all of it's features. My only problem is that I have tried to upload an animated GIF's category, and it will generate thumbnails and even display each gif file, but without the animations. All I get is a static image in the overlib as well as the detail view. Is Phoca Gallery not able to display animated gifs? Is there a different plug in I need to show them? I would like to be able to have the animated GIF's showing on the same page as the rest since it is my portfolio, and would rather not have to redirect just to display them.

Hi, Phoca Gallery uses thumbnails to displayed them on the site. Thumbnails are created by GD library on your php based server. It does not know to make animated thumbnails 
- so for displaying animated gifs, the gallery needs to be customized, so it will display original images, not thumbnails
