Component is switching templates randomly

Hi,

our site uses a main template along with several subtemplates to change the colors. In every part of the site I embedded a link to the phoca gallery category view.
The first page is displayed correctly, but as soon as you klick on a category the layout switches to a subtemplate, which is not intended. It is supposed to either stay in one template or get the current template from the menu (which doesn't work for lower levels. Only the first page here.).

Is there a possible solution for this? Maybe hardcode the template into the main files to at least prevent phoca gallery from switching them?

Hi, I don't understand, how can Phoca Gallery switch templates?

That's what I'm not understanding neither. I doublechecked all possible options in the backend. Neither in the menus nor in the links is a template specified. At least it should stay in the "top"-template but it's switching to Triathlon as soon as you go into a category.
