i have added phoca photo gallery menu item ( categories View ) to my joomla 1.7 .. now i want to add a separate video gallery menu.. now the problem is whenever i do some posts it is showing in photo gallery menu and video gallery menu too.. please tell me a solution to show photo gallery categories in gallery menu and video gallery categories in videos menu..

Hi, in Joomla! 1.5 there were feature with overwriting parameters with parameter component in menu link. In such case, for the first menu link the categories of videos were set to hidden and for the second link, the categories for images were set to hidden.
In Joomla! 1.7 there is no such option anymore, so this needs to be customized, the parameter for hiding categories needs to be copied to menu link XML file and then there can be selected that some category will be not displayed in the link.
