Phoca Gallery Plugin on Joomla 1.7

Migrated over to Joomla 1.7. Installed the new components and plugins. Working good except for the plugin to show images from a specific category.

The syntax I am using is (I left off the brackets):
phocagallery view=category|categoryid=83
and it displays nothing (no errors).

I decided to use a different syntax:
phocagallery view=categories
and it works correctly displaying the categories so I do not think it is a plugin install issue.

Any Ideas?

Solved it. The images were not authorized.
