Java Upload - Inactive Plugin

Cant seem to get past this step. Trying to allow front end registered users the ability to upload multiple photos. But my computer has Inactive -Plugin. When I try it enable it, it tells me to shut down my browser to complete the enable step and nothing changes. Can someone help.

Hi, I think, this is more a question on some Java Plugin forum, I by myself am only java plugin user so no specific advices in case the java plugin does not work in OS
