Subfolders in phocadownload folder?

As I have a few thousand files I want to make accessible with Phoca Download I created a structure with dozens of subfolders in the phocadownload folder.

When I try to add files to the Phoca content and I press the file button, I only can choose files from the phocadownload directory. The subfolders are all listed, but I cannot access them. I can click them but nothing happens and I am not able to choose files in the subfolders. From the help, it is not clear if this is a normal behavior and that Phoca only expects one download directory and does not allow subfolders.

I would be happy if somebody could tell me if it should be possible and if yes, where I can locate the problem.

In order to select files from subfolders your subfolder name must not have any spaces in its name.

for example

"old picture" is not acceptable but
"old_picture" it is.

https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ing-images (the same is for Phoca Download), spacing, diacritics, "bad" characters should not be included in filenames as there can be possible problems on different servers.
