Beta 3.1 - Upgrade Problem - Error 500

Hey Folks!

At first:

I followed this Guide:

From 3.0.2 to 3.1. As you still pack too many files into your zip-files, i had to use the ftp-method.

I think your Guide mentioned above is outdated, because:

* What about the folder /site/?
* What about the folder /front/, which is missing in 3.0.2 and 3.1.0?

I thought, /site/ in the new files means /front/ in the old description. By thinking this, i followed the guide and had overwritten the files in /components/com_phocagallery/ with the files in /site/.

And now?

When i try to log in as administrator, i get this:

Joomla!
500 - An error has occurred.

View class not found [class, file]: phocagalleryViewphocagalleryimgs, /var/www/clients/client0/web1/web/geo/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/views/phocagalleryimgs/view.html.php

Return to Control Panel

So please, help me! I really like to love your component, but right now it gives me a hard time .

Maybe a step-by-step guide for updating 3.0.2 to 3.1.0 Beta would help a lot.

Hi, the ftp method works only for Joomla! 1.5.

Works with the method you linked. Almost .

When loading the UCP, i get this:

Notice: Undefined property: PhocaGalleryViewUser::$params in /var/www/clients/client0/web1/web/geo/components/com_phocagallery/views/user/view.html.php on line 66

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/clients/client0/web1/web/geo/components/com_phocagallery/views/user/view.html.php on line 66

Any Idea? Did i f**ked up the installation while using the 1.5 Method? Right now angry about myself .

Now works with 3.1 RC.

To sum it up:

Upgrading from 3.02 to 3.1 (Beta/RC) is best done by using this Method:

Don´t forget to click "Upgrade", not "Install" .
