I've got a strange phenomena:
I am using PhocaDownload and PhocaGallery with a Joomla instance 1.5. On my localhost everthing is very smooth and fine. On the live server, the modal buttons do not open in modal view. By pressing the concerning button, I see a full side view with the content of the correct side and the following buttons do not work. I tried (with firebug) on the live server the invoking of the link adress of the phoca buttons on the button from the image insert button of the jce editor. In this case I can see the right content in the expected modal view, but the following buttons still do not work.
I have checked the writing and executing rights on the live server between the jce forms and the phoca forms. They where identical (This check is confirmed by the invoking of the link adress of the phoca side with the jce button in firebug). I have checked the jQuery fragment between the jce form and the phoca form. They are identical, too.
Now I would be interested, if anybody else has a similar problem and can help me find a sollution.

Re: Phocadownload - Files - iframe does not open in modal po
Hi, Phoca Gallery and Phoca Download Button plugins are standard Joomla! button plugins displayed below article, JCE has own solution so this needs to solved by JCE with specific solution, I think, on JCE support sites, there should be some info about this.

Re: Phocadownload - Files - iframe does not open in modal po
Hi Jan,
thank you very much for your reply. Obviously I expressed myself a little bit misleading. I don't have a problem with JCE, but with PhocaDownload. I just used the JCE-Button via firebug (I replaced the link in the href-attribute) to see, if the phoca content comes up in a modal view. And the phoca content came up.
Meanwhile I discovered, that I do habe the same problem with PhocaGallery: I can not open the "image" button to select an image file in the modal view. And the button, to select (or create) a date doesn't work either. For me, this indicates a problem with javascript. So I'm checking the js-Sources at the Moment to find a difference between my test environment an the live server.
Best regards

Re: Phocadownload - Files - iframe does not open in modal po
Hi, maybe you didn't understand my post above. Phoca Download button and Phoca Gallery buttons are standard Joomla! buttons. They are automatically created by Joomla! framework below the editor. All behaviour is made by Joomla! framework - so the opening the modal box too. JCE editor does not use the standard Joomla! framework behaviour, so every standard Joomla! button must be customized for the JCE - I think, there are some solutions on JCE sites. Just try to search them, this should be solved.

Re: Phocadownload - Files - iframe does not open in modal po
Hi Jan,
thank you for your reply. My problem occurs, when I open Components - Phoca Download - Files, then I am choosing a file, I want to work with. Now I can see the php-file in the directory administrator/components/com_phocadownload/views/phocadownload/tmpl/form.php. That is the form, where I can determine the name, alias, download file, specific icon an so on. All the buttons on this form do not open in modal view.
I do not use buttons below the editor to call Phocadownload. I just misused the "image insert" button via firebug to see, what will happen, when I insert the href-address of the phoca target site. My problem comes up, when I am working inside the Phocadownload component.
I checked the javascript sources, which are used to open the modal view. The difference between my local instance and the remote one is, that the local instance uses the mootools.js first and the remote instance first calls the swf.js. The swf.js needs 5 milliseconds to be executed. Due to the fact, that I am not a jQuery expert, I suspect, that the mootools.js comes up before the swf.js functions are fully executed.
I'm very sorry that I couldn't express my problem exactly in my first post. I will be working on that.
Best regards
Sandra

Re: Phocadownload - Files - iframe does not open in modal po
Hi, not sure what problems there are, maybe some conflict with other javascript library. In administration, Phoca Download uses standard Joomla! popup window methods like modal box is, so this is more a question on Joomla! forum, if there is no conflict with other javascript library

Hi Jan,
thank you for your patience. I will have a look on some jQuery forums. Maybe I can find there an answer to the question, in which order scripts are called. When I have found a resolution, I will post it in this thread.
Best regards
