In backend: "Parent Category is not asigned to current user"

When I (as super user!) try to change the parent category of a category, I get the following error:
"Speichern fehlgeschlagen! Fehler: Parent Category is not asigned to current user"
I guess you can ignore the first three words in german (my page runs in german), they just say "Saving failed! Error:", but I can't get my head around the actual error: Why can I (as Super User) not just change any category? Do I have to edit the category owner of the parent category first? That would be extremely annoying (changing the owner first, then editing the parent category, then changing the owner back).

Hi, subcategories are bundled with main category (parent category), so subcategory cannot be owned by somebody who does not own main category.
