Public access to catorgories and pictures

Hi,
Im having trouble working out the Access Rights for the photos and their catorgories. Even if the default joomla is set to public only registered people can view the pictures or catorgories otherwise i get the "you are not authorised to view this resource" malarkey. Is this a bug or have i missed out a step or two? I mean shouldn't there be a 'anyone' in the Access Rights box which allows public access to view the pictures and catorories?

I can still use the extension for the registered users i.e. pictures and catorories are visible for registered users but not for any public non-registered users. ive read all the documentation but i cant find an answer.
Im using phoca gallery 3.0.2 on joomla 1.7

Hi, as default, all images and categories can be displayed for not registered, check all your settings (menu link rights, group rights, category rights, is somewhere is not set some permission rule)

I have problems with access to categories.
I have created in Joomla Group "Friends" and Access Level "Friends" which has Firends group assigned.
In Category settings there are two seperate settings for access rights. When I set access choosing from "Access Levels" list from Joomla and in field "Access Rights" there is "All Registered Users" then access to category is granted to ALL REGISTERED users and should be only for Friends.
