I would like use only plugin into articles because I am not interested about download environment in fact, only to download pdf files. I realized it is not possible without menu link to component - download file link behaves as pointer to caregory and doesn't open save dialog. I solved it by using of menu, which is not visible on web. But I think it is not good because there is existing url to component link.
Can you recommend any nicer solution? (For Joomla 1.5.) Thank you

Thank you Jan, this article helped me to understand it is because of SEF. So always url will be possible to display and my solution with hidden menu is correct.
