Options not saving

Hi

I have PG 3.0.1 and Joomla 1.7

I made some changes in options > display which was fine.

I have now tried to make some more for Categoriies View Description.

But what ever I change, there is no change on the front of the site.

It is not throwing errors when saving or giving any indication that it has not saved the options - they just dont show.

Any ideas?

Hi, which parameter exactly does not work, is the menu link id the same like itemid in frontend (you can see itemid in url parameter when sef disabled)

Okay, I have just solved it, but in a really strange way!

The parameters that were not changing were the Image size, border and those sorts of things.

However, I went to the menu link as I wanted to change the page display settings (enable show page heading).

I did that, saved it and suddenly all my other settings appeared.

This is a dev site, so I dont have any caching on that I know about - any thoughts? This is was very odd indeed!

Well, this sort of started when I installed one of your themes. I had already changed a couple of the Look and Feel values in Options. When I installed the theme, it all went a bit odd - I could not customise anything. Being a dev server, I just uninstalled the component and started again, but it wasn't quite working right. I think it has something to do with values being read or not being read when the menu link is set up. Or not!

I would not have the foggiest how to start to debug that one. However, if anyone one has any problems with values from Options not seeming to get onto the actual page, try changing something on the menu link and then saving it - you never know, might do it!

Life is just too short!
