Download All Images Option Within a Category

Hello,

I currently have Phoca Gallery setup as client login galleries. Instead of downloading each image file individually...I was wondering is there a way to implement a "download all files" within a category?

If someone could answer this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi, you can combine it with e.g. Phoca Download, so in Phoca Gallery, images will be displayed and below thumbnails, link to download site where the ZIP with all images could be download.

Like e.g. here:

Hi, how do you get the categories to display as shown in the link above, that view is very attractive. The category view I am able to get using the standard phocagallery options is the following:

Also, are there instructions anywhere that show how to integrate phocagallery categories with phoca download?

Hi, there is no integration, you just install Phoca Download and Phoca Gallery, in Phoca Gallery you set external link (field) to download link. In Phoca Download you manage the files.

Category view: do you get the same problem with standard template? Is there place for floating boxes in your site?

Here is how I have figured out how to do it:



The problem is that the URL is hard coded, and depends on the specific location of the PhocaDownload component. If I decide to move the Phocadownload component to a different menu location, the URL changes and none of the links work. It would be nice to be able to get the same result as above, but without using hard-coded links.

Hi, the external links are not by categories, only by images.
