One Step less to download

Hallo,
i have a plan, that users can download a file in only in 2 clicks instead of now 3.

And, i have a problem with the styling of the download buttons.

I try to explain:
Now, user clicks on menu button for download-category.
He can see the categories for files.
He clicks to one and can see the list of files.

In THIS view, tere is the download button on right side - or he can click on the filename.

My question: what to to, that on click on this download button or the filemane, the download itself starts.

Because, now it did not start - i see the details of the file - and have to click on another download button with a complete different style, now on left side ...

And because we dont need the detail infos per file, it could be ok to download one step before ... per click on the button "download"

Can anybody help me?

Hi, as default the download starts after clicking the button, check your parameters - if there is no detail view enabled.
