Customizing Flowplayer

Post by quayfee »

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to customize the look and feel of flowplayer that's used in PD?

If had a look at the flowplayer web site, but none of the changes that I make to the audio view JSON (I'm only looking at audio at the moment) seem to have any effect.

Cheers

Hi Jan,

I've been reading the flowplayer web site and it appears that with the latest version there are some customisations to the look and feel of the player that can be defined in the JSON.

I had a go at upgrading, simply by adding the updated files and changing the version numbers that were used in the plugin file, but that didn't work., it just fialed to load flowplayer at all, but I'm fairly sure that upgrading flowplayer and tweaking the JSON in the initialisation is the way forward.

I'm happy to keep plugging away at this over the next few weeks, so any pointers you can give me on what I need to do to update flowqplayer would be really helpful. Asssuming I do get it working, I'll be happy to send you my updates for you to review and use in a future release, if you want to.

Oh, I should say that at the moment, I'm focused purely on the audio player plugin, but that's just because that's what my client needs at the moment :)

Cheers
