Problem with category language in category view

Hello everyone,

I experience a potential bug with the category language in category view.
To make it short: in category view, the category language is not taken into account (PG acts as if Language = 'All' for every category).

The details: I develop a multi-lingual website (English/French) with photo galleries. I have a category "New pictures" with two sub-categories A1 (language = EN in the category Publishing Options) and A2 (language = FR). In the main English menu I create a menu link to the "New Pictures" category in category view. But when I click on it, I see both categories A1 and A2 (while I shall see only A1).

For your information the PG behavior is correct for the Categories View: if I create a menu link to "List Of Categories (Categories View)" in a given language, then only the categories belonging to this language are displayed.
And the behavior is also correct for images in the Category view: images are displayed only if their assigned language is the one of the menu link.

Could another user confirm this behavior, or a developer have a look at the issue (or anyone correct me if I've misunderstood something)?
