Hello everyone,
I have a Phoco Guestbook component (2.0.0 RC2) Running on a Joomla 1.6 installation.
My site is multilangual,
When users post something phoca automaticly fills in the language to the website (en_GB or nl_NL)
My problem is that i want that on both sites ALL posts appear but that doesnt happen... How can i fix this?
Greetz, Stayallive
Excuse me for my language but English is not my native language.
Multilangual website not showing all user posts???

Hi, if the guestbook is e.g. in English, the post is assigned to English guestbook and it is displayed in English guestbook

Re: Multilangual website not showing all user posts???
Hi Jan,
Also my site is multilangual and I have defined one unique guestbook defined with Publishing Options Language: ALL.
This because I want only certain multilangual content on my site, whilst the guestbook should be a unique one (mixed up with posts in different languages).
In this case, I think people would expect, to have a common guestbook for all languages, displaying post of any arbitrary language indipendent from the current language selection.
(
Did you ever last in a hostel where they had distinct guestbooks for each language? )
This just as idea.
best regards and compliments for your great contributions

Re: Multilangual website not showing all user posts???
Hi, I think, this is more a question on Joomla! developers.
In case the site is running ALL language, and the guestook is ALL language, the posts are saved as ALL language, but this does not mean, it will save the e.g. DE language, because if you are in ALL language site, it only shows all language content, guestbook, items, etc. of course, if someone will write something in e.g. german language in ALL, then it will be displayed in german of course but it is saved in ALL area.

Re: Multilangual website not showing all user posts???
Hi, this issue is related to Joomla! 1.6/1.7 with multilanguage support, in 1.5 there is no such feature. For 1.5 just use Joom!fish component with Phoca Guestbook Joom!fish plugin.
