ISSUE: Image ordering - Catgeory View Menu Item

I have a problem with image ordering an a category view menu item (well 4 of the actually). This is on PG2.8.0 and J1.5.

The issue is that each menu item will not reorder the images based on the parameters set for that menu item. They seem stuck in ordering by ID Ascending, irrespective of the settings in either the global options for PG or the specific parameters for that menu item. FWIW, I'm trying to get them to use Date Descending.

I've done no hacking of the code and am not using any layout overrides or customisations.

I previously had a single meu item that went in to the cateories view, that worked fine when descending into a single category from the initial page showing the main categories.

I have no doubt that there's a rogue setting somewhere, but I can't find it. Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, try to disable SEF and try to check all the links for Itemid (it is is not changing). Parameters in menu links (id of menu link is itemid) should be assigned to itemid, maybe it is changed and then the ordering too.
