Middlesize images with different sizes

Hi,
How can I create middlesize images with different sizes (like 100x100 and 160x120) in different categories? In 2.x it was possible using plugin options (sizes for large image, for middle and for tumbnails). In 3.x plugin have not this options and I can't do it.

Make the thumbnails for specific category, then change the size and make thumbnails for other category, etc. etc.
