Can All Users Access The Same Gallery?

Hello, I am a new user to Phoca and am very confused by something. I created a test gallery and enabled the User Control Panel (Front end). But when another user accesses it via the the User Control Panel, they cannot see main category, and only have the option to create another main category. The same is true for the my Admin login, I can't see the categories created by the other users.

Is there any way around this, as the whole point of me giving access to different users is so they can maintain the Gallery themselves, not maintain their own little bits of it.

Hi, users can see categories where they have access rights, as default all users can see all categories.

I have looked through the documentation already and cannot find anything that refers to the problem. After much messing around with the User Permissions, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the component to see if that was the problem and left the preferences as default, and I'm getting the same result.

The only way a user can see a category in the Front End UCP is if they are set as the category owner, but that means the other users cannot see the category in the UCP (and if set to no owner, no one can see it). There seems to be no option to allow all users to see or edit all categories. If there is such an option, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what it is.

Hi, only owners of the categories can edit it in UCP, this is different to upload - users with upload rights can upload to any category where they have rights, but edit a category can only owner of the category.
