Thumbnail creation

Hello There,

I have galleries with a lot of pictures (e.g. 500). Therefore i would like to store my images in an most efficient way.

First in my parameters i set in my parameters thumbnail creation to yes. Phoca started to create thumbnails in an seperated folder, also for the large images. I uploaded my original images in a folder, selected those images in with the multiple add function of Phoca. I would say that these images are now unused since Phoca is using the created thumbs. But when I delete these original images the images in the album are not working anymore.

This is forcing me to save all images on two locations which is not very nice.

Is there a solution so that I only have to store my images once?

Hi, original images are used for many functions - recreating thumbnails, displaying info about size, for downloads, etc. - search more info in this forum, for what all are the original images used.
