Missing the "Phoca Gallery Image" Button

Post by Pte Podworny »

I'm using Joomla! version 1.5.22

I already have the phoca gallery extension

I didn't have the phoca gallery plugin so I downloaded it and installed it into Joomla!

I enabled it under the plugin manager

I need the Phoca Gallery Image button in the article editor, but it's not there and I can't figure out how to enable it. I'm using the JCE editer btw (I tried switching to other editors to see if that would help, it didn't).

I'm missing the button that's designated by the red arrow in this article:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/59-phoca- ... ery-plugin

Screenshot of what's happening to me:

If I missed something obvious I'm sorry, I did about an hour or two of searching how to fix it but I can't find a way so I have to annoy you guys.

Mám standardní instalaci Joomla 1.5.23 s výchozí šablonou JA_Purity a výchozím editorem TinyMCE

[EN Google Translate] I have exactly the same problem when accessing via the admin interface and click on the article is viewed, but when we proceed to article editing via web interface, so the button is not available. I tried to remake another button and change the php file and then the button and the button disappeared.
I have a standard installation of Joomla 1.5.23 with the default template and JA_Purity default editor TinyMCE

[EN translated by Google Translate] Hi, So I'll try to explain the problem in detail, including attached files.
Plagin Button Phoca Gallery I of course installed, as I said above, if you log into joomla as Administrator and administered by an article in the article editing button is available.
But if you unsubscribe from the admin interface and proceed to edit the article directly from your presentation layer, so this button is not available.

Nyní budu muset hledat jinou foto gallery aby ji mohli užívat i autoři článků. :(

[EN translated by Google Translate] Thanks for the info, for me it is unfortunately unpleasant findings.
I wanted to allow about 10 writers to be able to upload photos of their articles from Phoca Gallery. The Phoca Gallery can insert photos, but is no longer how to insert into the article, shame. :x
Now I have to find another photo gallery so that it can also be used by the authors of articles. :(

[EN Translated by Google Translate] Thanks for the info for other readers, but this version is for joomla 1.6, but I have version 1.5. With this article Upgrade to 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8? I chose the only available version of the LTS, where support will be provided to release the next LTS release. Versions 1.6 and 1.7 are the type of STS and version 1.6 will support ending this month. I want to pay more to upgrade the site content so I'll do until the next LTS release type.
