Error installing Phoca Gallery v3.0.2

Hey there,

I keep on having the following error when installing Phoca Gallery v3.0.2:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, service@webmailer.de and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

This occurs if I use normaler-uploader, FTP-uploader and also web-uploader.
Like described I extracted the download-file first, to receive the main installation file including the icons-pack and the readme-file.

Now I'm wondering what's the reason for that.

Update:
Problem solved. Unpacked the archive and copied it to the temp-folder on server.
Then installation over path was successful.

Im running Joomla 1.7.0. As written v3.0.2 should be working on that one.

i have almost the same problem, phoca gallery is a component, after installing it i can upload pictures and make gatagories but once i go back to the main menu and i want to add some pictures it won't work. the problem is that phoca gallery not standing in my list of component???
