User oriented photo galleries

Forgive me, I looked around, searched for guides, even went on youtube to see if I could get some direction or answer to what I want to attempt to do. If this extension is unable to achieve what I would like, I would appreciate any alternative suggestions.

I am running Joomla 1.7 and Phoca Gallery 3.0.1

Okay what I would like is for when my users register to the site, to be able to post images to specific locations, the site in which I am working on is AnimeAsylum.org, you will get an idea of the sections when you look at Cosplay and Gallery. So I want the person for under cosplay to be able to create their own user category to upload their own photos. Then on Fan Art be able to upload to that folder, with wallpapers I would like then to go to specific resolution folders, which I still need to create or maybe a user could create and when other users post the same resolution the images go there.

So if someone could explain or point in the direction of how I can achieve this as well as have menus linking to those categories directly would be great and much appreciated, if I am making no sense at all let me know and I will try to explain better.

Again this is greatly appreciated still a bit green in learning all of this.
