Suddenly I am blocked from uploading any photos through Phoca Gallery 3.0.1.
I am running Joomla 1.6.4 on a shared GoDaddy Linux server. I've got an unlimited account with GoDaddy and I am using the Phoca Color template.
I have ensured none of my photos are around 1 MB or less. Most are around 375 kb. There fewer than 75 photos in all, so far.
After exploring the Phoca forum I added a PHP.INI file allowing 64 MB.
I'm having trouble getting the documentation to match what I see on the screen, so I might have fouled something up.
No matter what I do I get a message saying: "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 52428800 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16800 bytes)". I get that message after I click to add a single photo or multiple photos.
Any ideas will be welcome. Thank you.

Re: GoDaddy Hosting
Hi, there is still a problem with memory, did you see the info part in Phoca Gallery administration, if you have set all the settings to recommended (exclude thumbnails creation)

Re: GoDaddy Hosting
Thank you for your help.
I had about 35 of about 52 photos uploaded and operating in three categories. The remaining 17 had no special characteristics other than they were all to go into the same category along with 7 that had uploaded and created thumbnails properly. They are all properly constcutred JPG's, all are properly named and none are greater than 1 MB in size.
I did find one of the options out of sync with those recommended, so I fixed that. I went back in and atempted to creat thumbnails again, but was unsuccessful. I did this both in Add New and Add Multiple modes. Both the thumbnail and the photo are blanks (white).
I've been through the forum and the troubleshooting page without finding anything else to correct the problem. Among the threads I've read is "Problem: Blank images + PHP Memory Limit" which seems to fit my problem. I found that I was at the 20MB mark for Maximal Size of all User's Images so increased that. I expect to have about 300 photos and to use about 100 MB disk space on the server in the end. Server space is not a problem. Unfortunately, I still cannot produce a thumbnail or a photo. Both still appear as empty squares on the screen.
I really don't know where to turn next. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: GoDaddy Hosting
Hi, there are only two possible solutions
- increase the memory on server
- or upload smaller images to server
