Regarding number of Hits

Hi

Should the hits also count for viewed images with gallery selection to Highslide JS (image only) ?
Because I do not get any increased hits at all. But if I change the gallery to regular Highslide JS, then the hits will count.

I also noticed something else which is really stunning to me...
On my live site the category hits increases by +2 with every visit.
If I am in a subcategory and go back to the previous category, then will the hits increase by +1.

On my local site, which is an exact identical, doesn´t increase by +2 at all.

I don´t know what else info to provide other than running:
Joomla 1.5.23
Phocagallery 2.7.6


Otherwise... will there be an implentation to only register unique hits?
