Developing a addon

I am interested in possibly developing a addon to insert images from a specific category into Sobipro. This would some what work like the gallery plugin for phoca gallery. I could do this with the plugin for phoca gallery, but I would have to use the joomla editor on in the form field.

My idea is to create a form field that will allow you to choose or even create a new category in phoca gallery to show unlimted number of images within that category.

What my question is, where I can find the resources to develop this add-on? I mean is there a document for third party addon development for phoca gallery?

- first I don't know exactly what your feature should correctly do and where such feature will be applied

Hi Jan,

The feature will pull images from categories and allow them to be displayed in a SobiPro entry.

Since there is no developer documentation or there is no assistance here. I will have to use the phoca gallery plugin in SobiPro.
