Gallery not showing up in IE, but shows in others.

Hello.
I will include the URL to my gallery. http://www.greggalus.com/photoblog/inde ... ey-florida The gallery I have titled "Cedar Key, Florida is not showing up in IE 9. All that is showing is the title. It is showing no description or the thumbnails. The other gallery "New Smyrna Beach, Fl is showing up in IE. They both work perfectly fine in Firefox and Chrome. Does anyone have any idea why this particular gallery is not showing up in IE? Thanks.

Hi, I have tested Phoca Gallery with IE9 and works ok.

Try to test:

- check it with other template (maybe there can be some javascript problem and conflict)
- check other extensions loaded on your site if they are not in conflict with another javascript on your site
- check another detail method (modal, shadowbox, etc.) to test if this is not specific javascript problem (IE problem) with some javascript library

Hello. Thanks for the reply. On that gallery, I have a description of the gallery. I don't have one yet on the other gallery. It seems that something with that description is causing the gallery not to show in IE. I submitted the description in the edit category page where there is that little editor to post the description. It is just a little write up about the pictures. Could there be scripts in the description causing it not to work? If so is there a way for me to fix that? I'm no expert with java script and I don't want to mess that too much on my own and end up screwing everything up. When I deleted the description, it worked in IE. Perhaps I could make a IE version of the site with browser detection putting the description somewhere else?

Hello. I think I've figured it out. I hope. I did check the html of the description. It produces a lot of un-necessary code along with some java script that IE probably does not support. From now on I'm writing the description in an html editor (Dreamweaver) and posting the description in the html editor side of the description. It is now working in IE with that method. IE needs to get with the times. The latest IE9 is still awful. Thanks for the help.
