Link Problem and file not found

Dear All,

I've installed phoca download with relatives plugins.

When I wrote on an article

{phocadownload view=file|id=4|target=s}

he gives me the following link:

/j/index.php/j/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&download=4:prova-2&id=1:atti

He give me /j/index.php twice and link tells me file not found.

(/j/ is folder where joomla was installed)

I've installed Artio JoomSEF Extension and tell him "Not using SEF" with Phoca Download.

If I disable SEF management on global settings of joomla, the problem was solved, if I enable SEF management the problem will back again.

Can you help me please?

Hi, tested here:

https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phoca-download-plugin
and
https://www.phoca.cz/joomlademo/phoca-download-plugin

with target=s, etc. without any problems - the SEF is enabled there

Try to recheck all your SEF settings ???

All setting are default settings.

I don't know what to try...

Do you know where I can see some fundamental settings?

I have same waird problem in my joomla 1.6 site with pd 2.0.

When I add link to content with PDplugin or PD button plugin some file works some not. I have multiple PD categories and sucategories.

Some files have in contet link : http://site.com/index.php/component/pho ... 2:filename - They do not work - ERROR code 500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: section, html, phocadownloadView

Other file have in content link: http://site.com/index.php/contentcatego ... 5:filename and they works

Any help pls?

Yes,
I agree with cuco11.

When SEF is activated, gives me error 500: They do not work - ERROR code 500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: section, html, phocadownloadView.

After I've installed joomsef for disable SEF management only for Joomla Download but gives me error that I wrote in message.

So, initial error is the same of cuco11. If I unistall ARTIO joomsef, the error is 500.

If you get 500 error, mostly there is some php error reporting, try to enable php error reporting if this is possible:

All right!

Thank's now all works!

Only one problem with JoomSef thath repeat two times some words in the url like index.php/index.php/ but i've disactivated and now works fine.
