Downgrade version

Post by carlos »

Hello,

We have a joomla 1.5.0 installation (that cannot be upgrade) and i upgraded Phoca download to v.1.3.8 (which requires joomla 1.5.1). So phoca download is not working :-(

I want to downgrade to a lower version that works with joomla 1.5.0. Does anybody know which Phoca download version do i need and where can i find it?

Then about the downgrading proccess, what shall i do? I was thinking about pasting the component files for the front-end and administrator keeping the tables in the database, am i right??

Thank you very much,

carlos

Hi, just install the obsolete Phoca Download and click on "upgrade" - it will downgrade in case of obsolete version.

But it is not recommended to use obsolte Joomla! nor obsolete Phoca Download, and I cannot say exactly which version will have no problems with 1.5.0 (and if the problem is really caused by the Joomla! version) :-(
