i know bmp not supported what do i do to change that

most games use bmp for there screenshoots and considering im making a game site where i want users to be able to upload screenshoots and some of them hardly know how to turn on a computer i need bmp supported jan please make a setting or someting so people making game sites can alow bmp if they want

i allways used phoca extensions love them but in this case idk what to do i need users to be able to upload picture in bmp format

Hi,

if you have bmp images, then you can convert them to jpgs on your pc with some software easily.

BMPs are not used on internet ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMP_file_format ) and adding them to the Phoca Gallery does not make any sense, as thumbnails are created by GD library on the server which then will have no memory for managing BMPs (because of their size)

thats ok i wrote a guide for my users how to convert to jpg before uploading lol
