no thumbnails after 3000 pics...

hi,

we just upgraded from jooma 1.5 and phoca-gallery to 1.6 and phoca gallery 3.0 (latest version) - so far so good. but now we have a major problem, because the gallery doesn't make thunbnails anymore. moreover the gallery doesn't display the picture itself - but it is definitely a correct jpg and on the website in the right place. I tried serveral jpgs without any success. We I want to create a thumbnail the gallery confirms "thumbnail recreated" but there is no thumbain. when I wont to turn the picture the gallery complains, that the file is not found - but it is definitely in the right place.

When I turn on auto creatiion of thumbnais in the options, I just get a white page without any html/php code when I go to the images menu in the backend.

In the frontend the outerframe of the pictures are displayed, but neither a thumbnail, nor the picture itself.

Any idea? Hint or even a solution?

I am not familair with the versions you use, but one thing always gave _me_ some clue in the past was the information page of Phoca. Here you could check all kind of settings and/or creation info. It at least a start....

Hi, white page mostly indicates the php error. Just enable php error reporting to see what is the problem there.

Mostly this can be memory problem, then just enable pagination thumbnail creation.
