Hi!
I'm using PhocaGuestbook 1.4.4 with Joomla! 1.5.22 and the Bad Word Filter doesn't work. All words I added will be placed in guestbook. What's wrong?
Best regards,
Thomas

Re: Bad Word Filter doesn't work
Did you set the right parameter: whole word filter and word filter, did you set the right separator?

Hi, instead of ; you need to use ,
see the help in the parameters:
Forbidden Word Filter::Set forbidden words, which will be not displayed in the frontend. Separate each word with a comma (,)

Sorry, but that's not true.
1. In my version of guestbook (1.4.4) the help in parameters signs ; (help is in german translation)
2. I tried to use , but ist doesn't work too!

Thomas

Re: Bad Word Filter doesn't work
Hi, maybe it is obsolete translation.
so:
- the words should be separeate with comma ,
- it should be set in parameters component in menu link to guestbook

all parameters are exactly like in your description. But no way, all dirty words were signed in guestbook. I think, I have to change this component

Re: Bad Word Filter doesn't work
Hi, then let me know the link to admin with login, so I can see it (e.g. through the PM), testing it on many test servers, testing by thousands of users in the time, the function is cca 4 years old and working, so there needs to be something wrong on the server
